Enemy of Knowledge

"As priestcraft was always the enemy of knowledge, because priestcraft supports itself by keeping people in delusion and ignorance, it was consistent with its policy to make acquisition of knowledge a real sin."

The Energy

Somehow, I think, this whole thing has something to do with us, or about us.
Everything that surrounds us (including ourselves) in both its micro and macro levels is nothing else but a Manifestation of Universal Energy that endlessly and seamlessly morphs itself from one form to another constantly maintaining and sustaining itself as such. All our actions and even thoughts are direct results of the morphing processes as well. It's almost as if The Energy is trying to materialize itself through all the living creatures utilizing Archimedes' four components of the universe: water, earth, air and fire and not forgetting that special dimension of itself that we call time.
The morphing process itself is constant, self serving and self sustained and evident as one form (or manifestation) depends on another for its own existence. In as much as it appears that it is wasteful due to all natural destruction and death, The Energy is constant representing every movement of everything and it never loses any of it's overall mass nor potential.
As far as we humans are concerned it all happens on our own level, although we must not ignore the other two: micro or atomic and macro or cosmic. Both are inseparable although we can not realistically see either one. It almost feels as if we are the cosmos to the micro level and at the same time our own cosmos is a micro level to another, bigger cosmos. Which begs the question whether there are multiple levels, or maybe unlimited number of them in both directions. A much bigger question is if we are a cosmos to our micro level, what are we to our cosmos. Is this where it all happens? The perfect middle?

Simple logic

If there is 'after-life' then there has to be 'before-life'.
I do not remember any details of my before-life.
Therefore I do not think I will witness any after-life.

Evolution 'Plagiarized'

"One should then look at the world of creation. It started out from the minerals and progressed, in an ingenious, gradual manner, to plants and animals. The last stage of minerals is connected with the first stage of plants, such as herbs and seedless plants. The last stage of plants, such as palms and vines, is connected with the first stage of animals, such as snails and shellfish which have only the power of touch. The word "connection" with regard to these created things means that the last stage of each group is fully prepared to become the first stage of the next group. The animal world then widens, its species become numerous, and, in a gradual process of creation, it finally leads to man, who is able to think and to reflect. The higher stage of man is reached from the world of the monkeys, in which both sagacity and perception are found, but which has not reached the stage of actual reflection and thinking. At this point we come to the first stage of man after (the world of monkeys). This is as far as our (physical) observation extends."

Perpetuum Mobile

Short of discovering or creating one ourselves, we will have to get satisfied with this thing we call among other things universe, mother nature or simply life.

Life Instructions

If all the cells in all the living creatures have their genetic instructions that have been passed from a parent onto a child, who from and how did the very first cell got it's instructions as to what to do?

Altitude

Knowing that the sea levels are constantly changing, it is very difficult to accurately measure terrain altitudes. Would not it be easier to refer to an altitude based on its distance from the center of the Earth? I don't think that parameter is as unreliable.

Human Robots

We believe we humans are intelligent beings and are in full control of our brains, our actions, capabilities and are the only beings on this planet to be able to achieve whatever we can think of.
Or, are we? Can one possibly imagine Albert Einstein playing professional basketball or Mike Tyson being classically trained virtuoso pianist? Why did Alexander the Great need Aristotle as a teacher and why did Aristotle need Alexander as a student? How come there are extremely wealthy and powerful and at the same time we have a lot of people who do not know where their next meal is going to come from? Why are there criminals and mentally unstable among us?
We are all based on a number of preset states of mind and there is no way of getting out of it. Certain brain types guarantee that we will be who and what we are, nothing more, nothing less. One can try all he wants to becoming something that he is not wired to be and surely he is going to fail or what we call 'will be living mediocre life, stressed out, not fully understanding why life is so hard'. So many of us never discover our “calling”, so many of us believe we have, but none of us is aware of the fact that no one is actually in charge of their destinies. We all are lawyers, doctors, journalists, actors, criminals, politicians, laborers, soldiers, rich and poor, not by choice, but by combination of the two factors: preset brain wiring (that tells us what we are created to be and environmental influences that tell us whether we actually will become what we are created to be. This is all part of our genetic code and pretty soon we will all be told what our future will look like. Whether we like it or not.

The Purpose

Can you imagine, if it takes only the smartest few of us to question and probe into the unknowns of life, and life was originated from the simplest chemical reaction imaginable (photosynthesis), how insignificant and simple we really are?
If this is true, than the dinosaurs had the equal right to believe they are the chosen ones too.
And if that is true, than, chances are, we are not.

Human Chemistry

When is someone going to figure out our chemical formula? I know it's almost impossible, but, wouldn't it be a wonderful thing to know what are we made of, and what is driving this marvelous chemical reaction called life?

Basics:

1. Who are we?
2. Where do we come from?
3. Why are we here?

Creation vs Evolution

A combination of the two is most likely the answer. Let me try to explain what I mean...
If an action calls for a reaction than reaction needs an action as well. In this case: if the Big Bang was the beginning than what caused it. It couldn't have happened by itself (is the chicken really older than an egg?). There had to have been an action that had created this reaction. The Big Bang had to have been preceded by something else (creation). And all the subsequent phases in the development of the universe, solar system, earth, living creatures were nothing but adaptations and reactions to the existing conditions (evolution). Therefore some form of initial force (creation) was needed in the beginning, and was rudimentary, giving only rough guidelines to the development (evolution) which is suppose to continue and arrive at the purpose point.
Consequently, we arrive at the question weather the action (creation) was an accident or was it done with some particular purpose. The answer might lie in the existence and interpretation of our genetic code. The shear presence of the code in all of the living creatures warrants the coexistence of both creation (someone had to have programmed it) and evolution (the main purpose of the code is to guide the evolutionary development). Just the existence itself (I think therefore I am) leads one to believe of the purpose behind creation, but once we are able to fully encode our genes we might be able to answer this question.
Now, given the fact that I believe what I just mentioned, I need to know who is playing with us and what kind of game are we all involved in? If anybody is playing any games.
I don't think life would be as interesting if we knew all the answers, but being that we are curious creatures, the quest continues.
